Over the last few months, I've been befriended by a water dragon - well, it could be several but they all look the same to me - and I've taken to feeding him / her / them soft fruit. So far, that's been nectarines, peaches, grapes and bananas.
Well, to my surprise, Wikipedia claims that the water dragons "tend to feed on small insects such as ants, spiders, crickets, and caterpillars. when they get bigger so does the prey which can include small rodents such as baby mice".
Quick, call National Geogaphic, I've got a trendy vegan water dragon as a friend!
